Visit Media PA

Media Buisness Authority

After an extensive bid process, we were asked to help formulate a business district brand for this vibrant and upcoming Pennsylvania town. As a twist to the existing but dated municipal logo, the Visit Media PA brand creates a dynamic shorthand for its main focus, the shopping mile of downtown State Street. While retaining the classic trolley icon and an industrial-era appeal, the simplified triangular mark also mimics the physical boundaries of this generally triangular Borough mapping its edges along Baltimore Pike to the South, Providence Road along the East, and Kirk Lane to the West. The bold red color is also a definitive departure from the older Kelly Green of years past and references the abundance of red brick used in many of its older homes and earliest commercial buildings.

Media Banner

As the primary branding mechanism, the custom triangular banners installed along State Street reinforce the brand during parades, street events, or any publicized interaction with local businesses and district life.

The brand continues to be leveraged for new tourism marketing and local store campaigns to highlight the many participating businesses that make this town so attractive. From magazine ads to direct marketing mailings to an updated visitors website, the brand unifies all points of contact in a memorable iconic experience.
